Marshawn Daiquan Williams

Marshawn Daiquan Williams, 15, of Kalamazoo, Michigan, was granted his angel wings September 2, 2017 due to a tragic car accident. He was born January 4,2002 to Johnnie Mae Jackson and Fredrick Williams Jr., at Condell Hospital in Libertyville, Illinois. Marshawn was a very smart intelligent young man who attended Kalamazoo Central High School. He also loved to watch his favorite tv shows which were wrestling, Dragon Ball Z, and basketball, which he was very passionate about. His favorite NBA team, was the Miami Heat. He also enjoyed playing the sport of basketball and was very competitive. Marshawn was a very out-going and a social person, with a magnetic personality which made it easy for him to make friends. He had the ability to be the center of attention when he entered a room, with all eyes on him. Marshawn also had a playful and fun personality and he loved to crack jokes. He loved to talk and debate about anything in conversation with just about anybody! He loved children and spent a lot of time with his siblings, especially his sister, Drea. Marshawn loved his family, especially his mother, who he would talk and confid in a lot. When his mother was in the hospital, Marshawn stayed close and wouldn't leave the room until she was doing better. He even slept in the hospital room with her. He felt that he was the :Man of the house" and the protector of the family. He would definitely look out for his mom and sisters. Marshawn was a very important part of his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Marshawn was survived by his parents, Johnnie Jackson of Kalamazoo, MI, Fredrick Williams of Chicago, IL and step-father, Jessie Thames of Flint, MI ; two brothers, Travell Jackson and Charles Wright and two little sisters, Nariah Clark and Deandrea Jackson all of Kalamazoo. He also leaves behind his grandparents: Angela Hayes and Fredrick Williams Sr. both of Chicago, IL; grandmother, Ruth Ann Jackson of Flint, MI; great grandmother, Gloria Reed of Chicago, IL; aunts: Jennifer Jackson of Northfield, MN and Earnestine Jackson of St. Cloud, MN and Sopheria Jackson of Hollandale, MS; Angela Washington and Sharon Moore both of Waukegan, IL, Nicole Jones of St. Cloud, MN, and Tonya Jones of Waukegan, IL; Jorri McDowell of Chicago Heights, IL; Latoya Richards of Kenosha, Wisconsin; Latrice, Latanya, and Destaney Richards; April, Barbara and Brenda Williams all of Chicago, IL and uncles Luther Brown of Northfield, MN; Jerrell Benford of Chicago, IL; Issac Jackson of Zion, IL; Tywan Dillon of Chicago, IL; John Williams of Zion, IL and Lashawn Williams of Chicago, IL.
