Micheal Deon Evans

Micheal Deon Evans, also affectionately known as "Big D", went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, April 7, 2009. He was born January 29. 1983, the son of Yolanda Beth White and Kevin Evans, in Eustis, FL. Deon was a student at Croyden School for many years. Deon was an outgoing young man who loved to talk and enjoyed being around family and friends. he loved watching T.V. Especially the game shows, "The Price Is Right" and "Wheel Of Fortune". Deon also loved music, and his favorite music to listened to was "Old School Jams". His favorite Old School Jam was "Always and Forever". Deon loved to collect everything from pencils to toys out of the vending machine. Some things he would stuff in his pockets for later. He was also known to keep all of his things that would fit, in his backpack. He also enjoyed everything from skating, to bowling and swimming. Deon was a very helpful person, who would lend a hand at school or at home by helping with cleaning, especially vacuuming. His favorite food was macaroni and cheese. He also loved to eat at McDonald's, and would order a Happy Meal so he could get his special toy. He loved all of his family members, and was very close to his mother, Yolanda and his brothers, Adrian and Vincent. Deon will truly be missed by all of his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his great grandmother Ruthie White; great grandfather, Willie White, Sr.; great grandmother, Martha Lee Young; an aunt, Jerlean Johnson; and cousins, Johnny Lee McGowan, Tonya Lynn Thomas and Harold Thomas, Jr. He leaves to cherish his loving memory: his mother, Yolanda White; his siblings; 2 sisters: Hebony Bostic and Nyteria Massey; 2 brothers; Adrian Butler and (Vincent) Jarrell Gomilla, all of Kalamazoo, MI; grandparents: grandmother Estella White, of Pedro, FL; grandfather, Johnnie B.
