If you have any questions, please contact us at: (269) 342-1000 _____________________________________ OBITUARY Aquarius Tykwan' Nathaniel Buchanan, lovingly known as "BoBo", made his transition to his heavenly seat next to God on July 30, 2023. He was born November 11, 2005 in Kalamazoo, Michigan the son of Cherrie Thigpen and Tykwan Buchanan. Bobo attended Kalamazoo Public Schools during elementary and middle school years. He relocated to Georgia with his family and went on to attend Wheeler High School in Marietta GA. Aquarius was employed with Kroger and Burger King restaurant in Marrietta. BoBo was a natural in sports and excelled in every area of sports he had an interest in. For example, he was the lead in baseball, football and basketball. He was very athletic and sporty and loved to skateboard. One of his other hobbies he enjoyed was fishing. He was a young man with many talents, that also included dancing and was known for his "Michael Jackson-Style" of moves. He was very family-oriented person who was very protective of his family members especially his mother. For example, he would make sure his mother was safe in any situation, even when crossing the street. He was someone who loved to make you laugh and smile with his jokes. Aquarius was also someone who couldn't sit still, was very energetic and outgoing and made the most out of life. He was close to his two sisters who he had an unbreakable bond with, Audriana and TyAsia. He was also close with Anthony "Fatty" Potts III who was more like a brother than a cousin and his cousin Ty'Seana Gibson-Fultz. He had an infectious smile, he would brighten up anyone's day. He had a caring, warm heart for people and would give to anyone in need. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Mildred Thigpen; great grandmother, Ivory (Mother Dear) Dawson; cousin, Anthony Potts Jr.; aunt Julia Tillman; cousin, Makiyla Hutchins; cousin, Aaron Fultz; cousin, Cortavion McFerrin; and cousin, Casanova McFerrin. He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving mother, Cherrie Thigpen; his father, Tykwan Buchanan; his sisters, Adrianna Bostic, Ty'Nasia 'Buchanan; Jersie Thrash, Kayla Williams, Ty'Lasia Buchanan; Brenda Buchanan; Teonna Satchell; Talaijha Hendrix; and 1 brother, Trevon Hendrix; maternal grandparents: grandmother, Kawana Richards and grandfather, Earl Tillman Jr.; paternal grandmother, Vanessa Fultz; aunts India Thigpen, Brandi Thigpen, Kimberly Thigpen, Iris Thigpen, Chavon Thigpen, Ebonee Gibson-Fultz and Natasha Buchanan; uncles, Douglas Brown, Corey Thigpen, Joe Thigpen, Eric Tillman, Rodney Tillman; cousins, Anthony Potts III, Aariniyah Potts, Jha'Breah Wright, Airyl Wright, Danerion Young, James Matthews, Janiyha Matthews, Trevon Hawkins, Keyon Hawkins, Andre Thigpen, Ty'Seana Gibson-Fultz, Chrishona Thompson and Darius Hubbard Jr.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Also, special friend and childhood sweetheart, Kaleece Lewis.
