Mr. Arthur Lee Love

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 9, 2016 @ THE FUNERAL HOME...PLEASE NOTE SERVICE TIMES BELOW***** Mr. Arthur Lee Love, also known as "Byrd", was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to many. Arthur went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at his home. He was born on August 19, 1953, the eldest son of Eugene Sr. and Lillie B. Love in Isola, MS. Byrd was full of life and was a very lovable person to be around. You never had a dull moment whenever you were around him, because he was playful, energetic and so serious looking at the same time! He enjoyed life and working at Graphic Packaging, his life-long job since 1975, He was employed there for over 35 years and was a very dedicated and faithful employee, that loved his job. After Arthur retired in 2006, he enjoyed relaxing and "terrorizing" his loved ones, who enjoyed every moment of it! Arthur also loved riding his motorcycle with his friends. He also enjoyed spending time with his family during fish frys, barbecue's and other family gatherings. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Love, Sr. and Lillie B. Love; 5 brothers, Eugene Love Jr., R.C. Love, L.C. Love, William Love and Virna (Virgil) Love; one niece Linda Faye Love and 1 nephew, Billie Griffin. He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife of 41 years, Karen Love; 1 son, Vernon Lee Turner, Jr. (Trina) of Anderson, IN; 2 godchildren, Kristie Love-Super (Charles) and Shaquille Lee Arthur Love both of Kalamazoo, MI; 4 grandchildren, DeAndre Turner, Megan Turner, Nigel Turner and Makala Turner of Anderson, IN; 2 brothers, Lee-Artho Love (Candy); Robert Love (Brenda) all of Kalamazoo, MI; 4 sisters, Robin Love; Annice Love both of Kalamazoo; Alice Greenwood of Canton, MS and Brenda Boyd-Simms of Montgomery, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; along with 3 special great-great nieces, Jaylah Kye-Love; A'Zariah Taylor-Love; Ahmani Love; 2 special cousins, Rufus and Rosie Johnson; a special thanks to my baby sister Robin, who has always been there for me, my baby brother Lee, nephews Otis and Xavier and nieces Kristie and Markeva who stuck by his side. Also, a special pet, his dog Joyce, who he loved dearly.
