Ms. Jaime A. Rivera

Jaime Ann Rivera celebrated 30 years of life with her family and friends, until she was called to her heavenly home to join God on Thursday, March 3, 2016. She was born March 29, 1985, the daughter of Lisa A. Price and Devri A. Rivera, Sr. in Kalamazoo, MI. Jaime went to Kalamazoo Public Schools and attended Loy Norrix High School. Jaime was a believer in God and would visit Faith Temple Church of God with her aunt. Jaime was a very outgoing person with a "bubbly" personality that drew others to her. She was a very outgoing young lady, who enjoyed spending time with her family. She also had a very sensitive, tender heart and genuinely cared about people. Jaime was known to be a wonderful cook and loved inviting people to her home to enjoy her delicious food, which included making dressing and desserts like cakes and brownies. Jaime's love for cooking was passed down to her from her grandmother, whom she was very close to. She loved to watch her favorite television shows Love and Hip-Hop and movies on the Lifetime Channel. Jaime was truly an angel from God and everyone loved being around her. Last but not least--God loved her more... She was preceded in death by her son, Jamere Rivera; her maternal great grandmother, Viella Armstead; her maternal grandfather, Dennis Lighten; a cousin, Sophia Rivera and her paternal great grandmother, Evelyn Hilliard. Jaime leaves to cherish her loving memory: 3 sons, Jalen Rivera, Jamil Griffin and Jaimeon Rivera; her parents, Lisa Ann Price and Devri Alaan Rivera, Sr.; siblings: Brittney (D'Marcus) McIntosh; Courtney (Mario) McIntosh; Alaan Scearce; Devri Rivera, Jr.; Dylan Hall and Gabriel Rivera; maternal grandmother, Zola Willis and step-grandfather James Willis, Sr.; paternal grandmother, Myrna Rivera; paternal grandfather, Abelardo Olivares; maternal aunts, Sheila Ritsema, Tammy Willis and Keoshi (Jerome) Gardner; paternal aunts, Carmen Rivera and Lisa (John) Hamilton; maternal uncles, James Willis, Jr. and Jamar Willis; paternal uncles, Esteban ("Steve") Rivera and Raynaldo ("Ray") Rivera; nephews, D'Monte McIntosh, Camarion McIntosh and Bryson McIntosh; nieces, Camira McIntosh, Aliyah McIntosh and Camora McIntosh. Also, a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
