WE WILL PROVIDE HAND SANITIZER WHEN ENTERING OUR BUILDING. ***If you have any questions, please contact us at: (269) 342-1000 ________________________________________ A Celebration Of Life Laura Gay Willis, born on November 15th, 1965, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 5th, 2024. Despite all circumstances, she remained a loving, genuine soul and a proud mother. Laura graduated from Vicksburg High School in 1985, where she was an active member of the softball team. A dedicated girl scout and was honored as homecoming queen by her peers. She was known for her big, beautiful hair and her heart of gold. She married her high school sweetheart, Joseph Cronk Jr. and together they raised two sons, Joseph Cronk III and Brockston Cronk. Her children were the light of her life. Laura found joy in attending church, spending time with her family, sewing, crocheting, journaling, arts and crafts. She also enjoyed water sports and the rodeo in her younger years. She focused on sobriety and her mental health. Although mental illness was not the direct cause of her death it contributed indirectly. Preceded in death by her father, Glen David Willis, Laura is survived by her mother, Gaylynn Cole-Willis; her sister, Christine Mary Shedore; her brother, David Willis; her eldest son, Joseph and his wife Taylor; her three grandchildren and her youngest son, Brock and his fiancée, Sarah. She is also, survived by her aunt Nancy Jame Miller, several cousins, and nieces Tory, and Kayci. In Memory of Laura and her compassionate spirit, the family asks that anyone wishing to send flowers or gifts please instead send a donation to a reputable non-profit mental health organization. They also encourage anyone struggling with mental illness to seek professional help and not to fight it alone. Mental illness is a serious condition. And being brave enough to seek help can make a significant difference. Laura’s family hopes that her story, filled with ups and downs, will inspire others to reach out for the support they need. Laura will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. The family finds comfort in knowing she is finally at peace and with God. WE WILL FOREVER LOVE AND MISS YOU
