Mrs. Patricia Lynn Pratt-Ingram

Patricia "Pat" Lynn (Pratt) Ingram was born July 7, 1952 in Kalamazoo, MI to Charles Otis Pratt Sr. and Donna Jean Pratt. Patricia transitioned this life December 10, 2011 at her home. She accepted Christ at an early age. She graduated from Kalamazoo Public Schools. Pat was famously known as the RIB CAGE Lady. You could see her at the Rib Cage---smiling, laughing and making the "Sauce from Heaven" . She made all the customers feel as if their orders were the most important order. She was able to persuade former President Clinton to send his Secret Service Agents to come back to the Rib Cage for more "Tips and Fries" (heavy on the sauce!) and commented that "I knew President Clinton had good taste!" Pat enjoyed family gatherings, holidays and playing cards with family and friends. She loved her grandchildren with everything within her.To see her with her grands, you saw love in action. We know they will carry those life lessons and love lessons with them forever. After a long battle with kidney failure, Pat received her kidney transplant. Following the transplant, Pat took on a brand new lease on life and her love of life grew as well as her ability to travel. Even after her transplant, Pat continued to encourage those friends and family who were still on Hemo-Dialysis. Pat was loved by all that came in touch with her. Her smile was contagious and her laughter infectious. From her friends in the Dillon's Apartment Building to the friends made over the years and Hemo-Dialysis Unit, she made everyone feel special and loved. Patricia is preceded in death by her father, Charles O. Pratt Sr.; grandparents, Harold and Bernice Gamble; Floyd and Hazel Pratt; and her ex-husband, Robert Abbott. She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Juan Ingram; daughter, Donyell (Dartanya) Gilmore; Fred "FreddyBob" (Nikkole Riojas) Abbott; James "Jamie" (Rashell Goodwin) Abbott; grandchildren: Jabree, James, Ariah, and Devin; her mother, Donna Jean Pratt; siblings, Charles Otis (Edwina) Pratt Jr.; Valerie Davison; Delores Moore; Daniel (Kate) McDaniels; Brian (Robbie) Pratt; Raymond (Keanya Graham) Pratt; Chan M. Pratt Sr.; Hazel (Billyjoe) McElrath; Margaret Anderson; and Barbara (Kenny Lattin) Hamilton.
