Mrs. Pearlene Hannah (Williams)

Pearlene “Dee Dee” Hannah (Williams) passed away Tuesday morning on January 9, 2018 in her sleep after a long battle with multiple health issues. She was born and raised in Kalamazoo, Michigan, the daughter of her parents, Richard and Mary Williams. She attended Kalamazoo Central High and later in life opened a day care center out of her home called, “Ms. Dee Dee’s Day Care”, until she became ill and had to retire. Although she was raised attending the Kingdom Hall, she became baptized later and began to serve Jehovah. On March 8, 1999, she met and united in marriage to Robert Hannah, who is also a faithful servant of Jehovah. Dee Dee enjoyed family the most. She also loved to be invited to events, whether she could attend or not. She loved to sing and had the most beautiful voice. She wanted to be in a band as a teen where she could sing and play bass guitar. She also enjoyed shopping and was very creative in putting together collages. She will be missed greatly, but she witnessed daily about the way we all can see her again in the new system of things. She is sleeping until then. She was preceded in death by her nieces: Kamilah Porter and Ta-Niyah Williams; nephew, Tevin Williams Jr. father, Richard Williams; mother, Mary Williams; brother, James Earl Williams and sister, Royce Williams. She leaves to mourn, her husband, Robert Hannah; 4 daughters, and one son, Tonya Renee Williams, Sonya Faye (Steve) Williams, Kiah Diteeya Williams, Daniel William Richardson Sr. and Dana Danielle Richardson; 2 stepchildren, William Hannah and Passion Hannah; 13 grandchildren: Shyanne (Thomas) Carter, Steve Williams Jr., Endea Atkinson, Dale (Jade) Williams, Coreyon Yarbrough, Neriah Marshall, Constance Williams, Tajanae Lewis, Daniel Richardson Jr., Jeremiah Witherspoon, Danae Richardson, Dalen Richardson and Giovanni Stephens-Richardson; 5 great-grandchildren: Joelle German, Eleina Williams, Armani Ramos, Eriyelle Yarbrough and Jordan Williams; one sister and 2 brothers, Sandra Faye Brown, Richard Williams III and Tommy (Toija) Williams; two uncles and two aunts: Governor Williams, Daniel Williams,Lula Hicks, Acie Burroughs and Janie Re Williams Lockett. Also, a host of nieces, nephews and a special niece, Monique Marie Williams.
