Use the GBC App, Instagram or Twitter _________________________________________ THE OBITUARY Ms. Rhonda Elaine Page began her transition on January 20, 2026 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She was born March 16, 1966 in Benton Harbor, Michigan the daughter of Robert Eugene and Bertha Mae Page. She attended Benton Harbor Public Schools and graduated from Benton Harbor High School in 1984. After high school, Rhonda decided to join the United States Army in 1985. She served until 1989, when she was Honorably Discharged. Rhonda enrolled at the Cincinnati School of License of Practical Nursing in Ohio, graduating in 1997. She relocated to Kalamazoo, Michigan and worked at several nursing homes, which included Tender Care, Heritage and Friendship Village. She enjoyed working in the geriatric field, assisting elderly patients. Rhonda was blessed with a son, Ryan Page, who was born February 8, 1987. She later was blessed to adopt 2 children, Carla and Donqual. Rhonda was baptized at an early age at Second Baptist Church in Benton Harbor, Michigan. She later joined Galilee Baptist Church in Kalamazoo, Michigan under the leadership of Bishop Dr. Michael T. Scott, Sr. She served as part of the Food Pantry Ministry and would participate in the Annual Women's Day services, by ministering in song. Rhonda loved watching her favorite television shows like Law & Order, the Judge Mathis show, and she also enjoyed watching her favorite cooking shows. She followed sports on television and would watch tennis matches, gymnastics, track & field, boxing or basketball games. She was an avid reader as well. Rhonda was known to be a giving-person, helping anyone whether it was cleaning or cooking a meal. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and being a grandmother. She would spend a lot of time with her grandchildren and loved to take them to the park. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Robert T. Page, Sr. and Anthony Page. She leaves to cherish her memories: her son, Ryan Page of Kalamazoo, Michigan, along with her 2 adopted children; her sister, Annette Page of Kalamazoo; 1 brother, Gerald Page, Cincinnati, OH; and several relatives and friends.
