If you have any questions please contact us at: (269) 342-1000 _______________________________________ THE OBITUARY Mr. David Lee Taylor was born January 25, 1970 in Kalamazoo, Michigan to Lois Ann DeVall and Jesse Taylor. David accepted Christ at an early age at Darden Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Okolona, Mississippi. He then later joined Christian Life Center in Kalamazoo, Michigan. David attended Loy Norrix High School. While attending school, he worked at Gull Lake High school with his dad. After graduating from high school, David went to work for Meijer's where he was employed until April 2020. David enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his kids and grandson. He also enjoyed watching football and basketball. His favorite teams were the Detroit Lions and the Los Angeles Lakers. In his eyes, those teams could not be beat! David leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Alice Taylor; 3 daughters, Angel Spears, Khrizma Taylor, and Kaliajah Taylor; 2 sons, Lavonte Robertson, Demond Jackson Jr. and 1 grandson, Deshawn Robertson all of Kalamazoo, Michigan; his mother, Lois DeVall; father, Jesse Taylor; 11 siblings and 6 in-laws; brother/sisters: John Taylor (wife Lois Ann Taylor) of Okolona, Mississippi; Tiffany Taylor, Tony Taylor, Shanel Taylor, Candi Taylor all of Kalamazoo, Michigan; Robin Pamplin, Michael Pamplin and Taylor Channey all of Atlanta, Georgia; Bretha Lee Thomas of Kansas; in-laws, Jerri Spears, Earnstine Spears, Melanie Savage, Gloria Spears, Johnny Spears and James Spears; 7 aunts, Henrietta Cotton (husband Oscar Cotton), Stella Ware, Rose Ma Boone, Annie Thompson, Margie Taylor, Marie DeVould, Mitty DeVould and 1 uncle, Nelson DeVould. Also a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, a host of cousins and many friends. David was preceded in death by his grandparents.
