WE STILL REQUIRE SOCIAL DISTANCING & WILL CONTINUE TO PROVIDE HAND SANITIZER WHEN ENTERING THE BUILDING. ____________________________________ The Obituary Ms. Jeneva Ann Morrow departed this life on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She was born March 7, 1982 the daughter of Anita Tillman and Clarence Morrow Sr. in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She accepted Christ at an early age. She attended Kalamazoo Public Schools and graduated from Kalamazoo Central High School. While attending high school, Jeneva was a peer educator to young teen mothers, assisting the mother’s with help and advice whenever needed. She enjoyed this position and was very proud of it. After high school, Jeneva attended KVCC and also went on to trade school to be educated as Phlebotomist. She went on to work at Borgess Hospital for several years but aspired to one day have her own Phlebotomy business. She was also employed as a Manager at McDonald’s. Jeneva was very ambitious and very accomplished at whatever she took an interest in. Jeneva loved to cook especially baking cakes. She had an entrepreneurial spirit, and hoped to one day have her own catering and cake business. She loved watching cooking shows on the Food Network. Other interests of hers, was writing and she would keep journals. She loved listening to Old School R&B and Jazz music. Jeneva was known as a friendly, free-spirited woman who enjoyed helping people and was known to assist the homeless in the community. She loved to spend time with family and friends and will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her sister Porsha Morrow; paternal grandparents : grandmother, Louisiana Blanchard and grandfather Houston (“Noon”) Morrow, Sr.; also one uncle, Marvin Tillman. Jeneva is survived by her parents, Anita Tillman of Kalamazoo; and Clarence (Ronita) Morrow Sr. of Jackson, MI; her children, Jordan Morrow, Jada Matthews and Prince Sherill; 2 sisters, Shameka Morrow of Kalamazoo, Arriel, 2 brothers, Clarence (“Duke”) Morrow and Rodney Merrel all of Jackson, MI; maternal grandmother, Martha Tillman of Kalamazoo; maternal grandfather, Forest Tillman of Mississippi; sister-in-law, Sherri Morrow of Battle Creek, MI; special nieces and nephews, MaKayla, Kaylen, Kaylee (“Suger”), Olivia, Terrell and Cameron; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousin and friends. Also, her best friend, Marla Sykes.
