Marcus DeShawn Brown

Marcus DeShawn Brown was born March 10, 1986 in Kalamazoo, Michigan, to Rosiland Brown and Donnie Davis, Sr. He attended Kalamazoo Public Schools, and went on to graduate from Kalamazoo Central High School. After graduation, he went on to further his studies at Kalamazoo Valley Community College. Marcus was an exceptionally, loving young man who shared his heart with Jasmine Taylor. Everyone Marcus met in throughout his life, he managed to touch their lives in many ways. Marcus had a special love for children and they loved him to pieces. God called Marcus DeShawn Brown home on March 20, 2017 at the age of 31. He leaves to cherish memory: his devoted mother, Rosiland Brown; father Donnie Davis, Sr.; grandparents, Oliver (Joann) Warford; son, Marcus DeShawn Brown, Jr.; brothers, Brandon (Jamie Cole) Brown; and Donnie Davis Jr.; nephews, Brandon Jr., Bryson Jordan and Donnie; nieces, Damoni and Kalaya; uncles, Greg Brown and Theron Givhan; aunts, Vickie and Tammy Brown and very special aunts, Shaconda Givhan and Sharon Brown.; special cousins, Markeya, Lyntrice, Shakeylia, Destany, Tameshia, Lance, Lindsey, Marshetta and a very, very special cousin, Michael Williams. Also, special friends, Chris Jeffrey, Justin Harris, Steve Clark and Cory Robinson.
