Go to Facebook, if you have a facebook account. after logging in, type in Myzionbaptistkalamazoo ***FOR THOSE THAT DO NOT USE THE INTERNET, YOU MAY LISTEN TO THE SERVICE ON YOUR PHONE BY CALLING: (269) 206-9635 ______________________________________________ THE OBITUARY Maudine Dunigan Coleman peacefully departed this life on Thursday, November 19, 2020, Maudine was born on December 24, 1926 to the loving parents of George and Charlotte (Gardner) Dunigan in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Maudine accepted Jesus Christ at an early age, and was baptized at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She attended Kalamazoo Public Schools. Maudine was employed with Bronson Methodist Hospital and retired after 35 years of service. Maudine enjoyed music, reading and putting puzzles together. But, most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Maudine was blessed to be the matriarch of five generations of family. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Charlotte Dunigan; 3 children, Karen Sue, Mark Anthony and Arvin Bernell; 4 grandchildren; Patsy Coleman, Givonna Berry, Brock Smith Jr. and Zakari’e Coleman; stepson, Jerry Howard; 8 sisters, Irma Saunders, Janice Ezell; Joyce Reeves; Louise Gardner; Henrietta Dunigan; Eileen Charleston; Georgia Julian; and Lemonia Grear. She leaves to cherish her memory, her nine loving children: Willie (Marilyn) Coleman; Leona Coleman; Veronica Fullerton; Beverly Coleman; Drucilla Berry; Gretta Wilkins; Leon (Janet) Coleman; James Coleman; Irma Jo Coleman; survived by one sibling, Rev. George Dunigan Jr.; and the love of her step-children: Barbara Howard; Shelly Coleman; Dr, Lanetta (Tarek) Brantley; Susan Coleman; Nona (Vanwright) Ferguson; Anthony (Desiree) Coleman; Cynthia Coleman; Richard Coleman; Donnie Howard; 3 special nephews; Charles Julian; Byron Ezell; Kevin Dunigan; 29 grandchildren; 69 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren. Also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. ***Maudine Touched So Many Lives, She Will Be Missed Dearly***
