He was born April 12, 1961 to Allen Gardner and Pauline Gardner. Wayne gave his life to Christ at an early age at Mt. Zion Baptist Church and he attended Kalamazoo Public Schools. Wayne loved to spend time with his family and friends. He also loved his dogs. He enjoyed playing chess, football, boxing and karate. In 2015, he started his business "Wayne Auto Recycling" in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Working on cars was his passion. He is preceded in death by his grandparents; brother Allen Gardner Jr.; four sisters, Annette Gardner, Angela Jackson, Sharon (Gardner) Pratt and Kathleen Gardner Burns. He leaves to cherish his memory, his three children, Wayne Gardner, Anesha Gardner and Kyndra Hoskins; his parents, Allen Gardner and Pauline Gardner; ten grandchildren; four sisters, Mary Dixon, Carman Rivera, LaShalle Coulter and La'Aysha Mitchell; one brother, Shemar Mitchell; and two aunts, Berniece McKinley and Helen Brooks. Also, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. We would also like to acknowledge the Johnson Family that he considered as his children too!
