Mr. Zeb Sheppard
September 19, 1936 - February 24, 2018
Mr. Zeb Sheppard a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He entered his Eternal Rest peacefully on February 24, 2018 at Borgess Methodist Church in Kalamazoo, Michigan after a long illness and surrounded by his family. Zeb was born on September 19, 1936 in Hope Arkansas, the son of Charles Sheppard and Julia Burns. He graduated from Kalamazoo Central High School. After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army. He was employed with National Water Lift, Parker Hannifin until retirement. He also was employed with Eaton Corporation for many years and was a volunteer driver for the Food Pantry. Zeb professed faith in Christ at an early age and later in life became a member at Galilee Baptist Church. He was a member of the Male Choir. Zeb was a family man who loved his family and loved it when family would visit and fill his home. He enjoyed having family cook outs and get-togethers. He also loved his flowers and enjoyed renovating his homes. He loved to share stories about his past to family and friends. He was the glue that held his family together and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by is father, mother, sisters and brothers. Also, two sons, Timothy and Tyrone Sheppard. Zeb is survived by his lovely wife, Mrs. Fannie Sheppard; 7 daughters and 3 sons: Julia Denise Sheppard of Las Vegas, NV; Karen (Larry) Gray; Dana Arbor of Flint, MI; Kimberly (Lance) Waters of Virginia; Shree and Lisa (Williams); Carla Sheppard; 3 sons, Ronald (Grace) Sheppard; Tony and Johnny Williams; a special son, Sammy Dixison; sister, Helen Sheppard; 32 grandchildren; 58 great grandchildren; 2 special daughters, Renee and Yolanda; 1 aunt, Lula Taylor; a special cousin, Jim Pierson and a host of other relatives and many, many special friends.
