Angela Denise Arnold

Angela “Angie” Denise Arnold transitioned from this life on Friday, August 17, 2018 surrounded by her family and is now receiving her heavenly reward. Angie was born March 22, 1965 in Monroe, LA to Willie E. Arnold and Emma Williams. Angie gave her life to Christ in 2012 and was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Although she was not able to physically attend on a weekly basis, she enjoyed watching and participating, with her church and Pastor Addis Moore, from home every week. Angie received her education from Kalamazoo Public Schools and was proud to be a part of the last graduating class of Oakwood Junior High School. She went on to graduate from Loy Norrix High School in 1983. From an early age, she had a love for music and people. You could always find Angie listening to her music and bumping in her big chair. Angie loved her family and always enjoyed having them in her presence. She loved to share her wisdom and was a mentor to many young people. You could always catch her with a smile on her face. Everyone who was privileged to know her became family. Angie was preceded in death by her son, Marcus Arnold; paternal grandparents, Roosevelt and Evelyn Bradford; maternal grandparents, David and Priscilla Ware and Francis Winston; aunts, Lettie Odom and Loretha Hill; uncles, Bruce W. Bradford, Wilson C. Bradford, Arthur Ray Bradford, Roosevelt Sneed, and Charles Winston; and a cousin, Darryll Lamond Bradford. She leaves to cherish her memories her loving and caring parents; mother, Emma (Larry) Williams of Monroe, LA and father Willie E. Arnold of Kalamazoo, MI; children, Ciera Arnold, Shantara Arnold, Keyawanna Lee; grandchildren, X-Zavier D. Bates, Zavion D. Arnold, Zar-Quease D. Arnold, Za’Shon S. Arnold, Keyasia L. Arnold, Da’Tavion R. Arnold, Dai’Jon D. Arnold, Ronakii R. Lee, Os’heanna D. Lee, Lamar A. Lee, Adaiya A. Lee, Adeana M. Lee; brother, Willie A. Arnold; sister, Patty Arnold; nieces, Keyanna Ford and Nevaeh Hughes; nephews, Derrick Ford, Jr., Jalen Ford, Keyshawn Ford, and Gavin Arnold; God daughters; Tyronda Whiteside, Tanikka Vincent, London Jones, and Jaisamir McClinton; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
